His memoir of a year in Iraq, Nights in the Pink Motel, was published by the Naval Institute Press. DayBue published his novel, The Way Home. He was contributing editor of Identities in North America, Stanford University Press. His stories have appeared in single-author issues of Erotique and Wordrunner eChapbooks, Nowhere is Always Somewhere. A diplomat for many years, Robert Earle was stationed in Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, has degrees from Princeton and Johns Hopkins, and now lives in Chapel HIll, North Carolina.
