Providing us with your contact details via our website form(s) enables us to provide you with useful and timely information. We will keep any information you provide confidential and will not share with any third parties unless legally obliged. Any information shared with us via our website form(s) will be kept for up to 90 days, after which it will be deleted. If we are part of a joint collaborative project, e.g. you are/become a subscriber/member or a professional partner we will retain all your information unless you ask us to remove it from our database. You may, at any time, request to see what information of yours we hold and request its deletion. There is no charge and we will supply the information to you within 30 days.

We may collect the following information:

  • name and job title
  • contact information including email, website and social media contacts, including but not confined to, Twitter and Facebook plus user’s IP address
  • demographic information such as post code, preferences and interests
  • other information relevant to customer requirements, surveys and/or offers

Why do we collect this information and what do we do with it?

We gather client information to better understand our clients’ needs and provide the best service possible, more specifically for:

  • our internal records
  • improvement of our products and services
  • the tailoring of this website according to your interests
  • maintaining memberships and subscriptions
  • offers, products and services
  • We use Slack, Basecamp and Highrise as out preferred administration software packages.
  • We use WooCommerce and Stripe to run our shop and fulfil payments respectively. We hold your order/payment details for the following times. 
    To comply with tax laws we hold the following records for 7 years.

    Cancelled Orders
    Completed orders
    To allow for resolution of any ordering issues we hold records of the following for 90 days.
    Pending orders
    Failed orders
    The above timescales apply for each and every transaction you make.

If you choose to ‘opt in’ and sign up to receive our newsletter you will periodically receive information we believe you may find useful, valuable, timely and of interest to you about us, our blogs, stories, authors, services and products.

We use a third party provider, MailChimp to deliver our e-newsletters. Through it we gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You may also re subscribe whenever you wish via our website.

If you contact us via social media We use a third party provider Hootsuite to manage our social media interactions. If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by Hootsuite for three months. It will not be shared with any other organisations.
