Peter J. Stavros is a writer in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a BA in English from Duke University, and studied creative writing on a graduate level at Emerson College and Harvard University. A former reporter for the Associated Press, his work has appeared in The Saturday Evening Post, The Boston Globe Magazine, The East Bay Review, Hypertext Magazine, Fiction Southeast and Juked, among others. He has also had plays produced across the country, including as part of the 8x10 TheatreFest at the Weathervane Playhouse in Akron, Ohio; the One Act Fest at M.T. Pockets Theatre in Morgantown, West Virginia; the Kentucky New Play Series in Louisville, Kentucky; the 10-Minute Play Festival at the Durango Arts Center in Durango, Colorado; the Ten-Tucky Festival of Ten-Minute Plays at the Bard’s Town Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky, for which he received Audience Favorite; and the Festival of Ten at The College at Brockport – SUNY, for which he was named Audience Choice Winner.
