Christin Rzasa studied poetry at the University of Montana with the poet Richard Hugo, earning a BA in English, and then spent the next thirty years in veterinary medicine, working as a Veterinary Technician and writing poetry and creative non-fiction in her spare time. Her writing has been published in Rocky Mountain Rider and Cutthroat Journal of the Arts’ anthology, “Truth to Power.” She was awarded second place in the 2016 Barry Lopez Creative Non-fiction competition. She continues to write poetry and creative non-fiction while living sustainably and working on a small farm in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana.
