Scott Heaton is the twenty-eight-year old bestselling author of several books that have yet to be sold, read, or even written. However, he did blow away his mom with a few short stories that were published in his university’s literary magazine -she thought that was a pretty big deal. And while Heaton is proud to be a red meat-eating, football watching, farm-raised Texan, his job as a tenth grade English teacher has developed his sophisticated palate when it comes to literature. He proudly sports his TCU purple when strolling through the stockyards of Fort Worth with his beautiful wife, Taylor, and daughter, Molly June, and can often be found in local coffee shops reading and writing in crusty, old journals with chewed-up BIC pens.

It's a matter of perspective. But, then, what isn't?... That's a real question. What ISN'T a matter of perspective? I'm plagued by this question.
