While Bari Lynn Hein works on a manuscript set in a Russian shtetl at the turn of the twentieth century, two debut novels are on submission to publishing houses. Her short story “Skyscrapers” was a runner up in The Saturday Evening Post’s Great American Fiction contest in 2018. She is also proud to have had her short story titled “A Faint, Cautionary Creee” selected for Editor’s Choice in daCunha’s Made Up Stories competition in 2016. She lives and works in the D.C.
